“The Seven Deadly Friendships” – Mary DeMuth
I was honored to sit under Mary’s teaching July 2018 at the Proverbs 31 “She Speaks” Writers Conference. It is a tough subject to tackle, but Mary does it with honesty, grace and always pointing to God’s Word for wisdom and healing from toxic friendships.
“Everybody Always” – Bob Goff
First of all, Bob Goff. He is such an amazing storyteller and his stories are authentic, inspiring and challenge me to love people like God loves people. If you can only read one book this year, it needs to be this one!
“Sacred Parenting” – Gary Thomas
This book is an excellent resource for parents at any stage of their parenthood. I believe the sub-title sums it up best, “How raising children shapes our souls”. Prepare to be encouraged and blessed by this book.
“Make It Happen” – Lara Casey
This book is Encouraging and a call to Action! Mine is underlined (a lot) and has TRUTH written at strategic locations throughout. The last 1/3 of the book helps you make a plan to LIVE ON PURPOSE! Highly recommended!
