I believe most women are born with an inordinate amount of words just waiting to come out. Some more than others. Some who do not hesitate to let those words come flying out…without thinking through how those words will sound. I would be one of those someones.
Two years ago, I felt a very strong call to write down some of those words. VERY. STRONG. CALL. As in, you are going to write! Who me?
Who would want to read or hear what I have to say? I am no expert on anything! Folks will be critical and cruel (or even worse honest) about my lack of ability as a writer. What can I say that hasn’t already been said (more eloquently) before? There is much I do not know about this calling, about writing, or about what God is going to do with it, but…
THIS I KNOW…
My purpose should be to please God. 2 Corinthians 5:9 (NLT) says, “So whether we are here in this body or away from this body, our goal is to please Him.”
I cannot please everyone all of the time, or even some folks part of the time. My goal will be to please God.
So, here we go.
